Football Offerings

Registration:

Registration will be open from Feb 17th through June 30th.  We are unable to take any late registrations due to the time needed to make custom uniforms.

In person sign ups dates and fittings:

**All players must attend a uniform fitting.  Failure to size for football uniform prior to 6/30 will result in late fees being assessed.

In person sign ups and uniform fittings are held at the Whitley Building (MAP)

Cost:
The fee to be a football player will vary from season to season.  Please see current offering for current pricing.

Season:
The games are on Saturdays starting Labor Day weekend and running through the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Practices:
Practices are determined by the coach.

Coaches:
Coaches are an important part of our success! We welcome new coaches and offer a coaching clinic to those interested in coaching. Please contact VP of Football if you are interested in coaching or have questions about registration.

All participants in BYA will not be discriminated against because of race, gender, creed or educational handicap.

We Background Check ALL Coaches & BYA Board Members:
We require all BYA coaches and board members to go through a background check process.

Military/Veterans, First Responders & Healthcare Workers Discount:
The BYA would like to give back to our Military/Veterans, First Responders & Health Care Workers in the form of a $10 discount per registration for your service.  Click here to fill out the First Responders Discount Form and provide proof of service and a discount code will be emailed back to you that you can use at sign up.

We hate to see people leave but if you have to, we ask that you fill out a REFUND REQUEST FORM to begin the process of your refund.

BYA FOOTBALL MISSION 

At BYA, we strive to help our kids develop into positive, productive teens and young adults through participation in organized sports. We are the primary "Feeder System" to the BISD Football Athletic Programs. We stress sportsmanship, teamwork, self-confidence, self-discipline and healthy competition helping to prepare our kids for scholastic sports and life in general. These positive characteristics can be learned through participation in organized league play at BYA.

Our Football Program accommodates ages 5 through 12 (no seventh graders since they will participate in BISD Football). Ages are determined as of Sept 1st of the current school year.

GENERAL SEASON SCHEDULE

Registration for our Fall season opens in May/June, with grass drills in late July & early August. Team placements for Fall occur late July with the first game scheduled the first weekend in September. The Fall season ends just prior to Thanksgiving.

Division age is as of 9/1/2024 for the Fall 2024 season.  Children that were 4 on 9/1/2024 or enrolled in 7th grade are not eligible for our Fall 2024 Season. 7th and 8th graders are not eligible to play.
