Steps to Obtain Volunteer Badge

*BADGE PHOTOS MUST NOT CONTAIN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING OR THEY WILL BE DECLINED: HATS, SUNGLASSES OR GROUP PHOTO OF ANY KIND*

ONLY CLEAN HEAD SHOTS WITH A CLEAR AND UP-CLOSE PICTURE OF YOUR FACE FROM NECK UP.

STEP 1:  Starting January 1 of each year. Visit the Current Registrations page and enroll or scroll to the Volunteer Badge program at www.bya.org>Registration>Open Programs.

STEP 2: Click the VOLUNTEER button.

STEP 3: Enter your credentials if you are an existing customer or create a new account.  Click Forgot Password if you need your password reset.

STEP 4: Check information on the next screen.  Make sure that the following are selected:

Enrollment Type: Volunteer

Program: Volunteer Badge - Annual 202X

Offering / Enrollment Selection / Registration Period: N/A

Click ADD button. 

STEP 5: A popup box will open letting you know that your enrollment has been added to your cart.  Click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT.

STEP 6: Verify your existing photo or add a new one from a location on your device/ computer and click NEXT.

STEP 7: Read and agree to the waivers to proceed and click NEXT.

STEP 8: Enter your billing and payment information.  The annual background fee is $10 and will be automatically added to your cart.  Click PLACE ORDERNOTE: This will not run your actual background check. It is only the processing fee. 

STEP 9: The next page is your order confirmation page.

STEP 10: Once registered, the system will immediately email your confirmation receipt, from Burleson Youth Association to the email address you used for the registration.  You will need to find/ locate that email.  You may need to look in your spam/junk folder depending on your email filters.

STEP 11: Once you locate and open that email, scroll to the bottom, you will see a large button that reads CLICK HERE TO RUN YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK.  You will need to click that button and complete the prompts to submit your background check.  This link is only available for 72 hours and for one use.

STEP 12: Once your background check has passed, your name will appear on the Approved Volunteer List.

STEP 13: Your head coach will be emailed the information about when and where Badge night will be.  Only one representative will be permitted to attend the badge Night due to the volume of people we have.
