Season:

Fall Program: 8 games.  Game days are Saturday's only.

We currently do not offer a spring or summer basketball program.

Practices:
BYA will provide 1 hour per week of practice to all prime teams.   BYA will cover the cost for 1/2 gym.  Teams are able to purchase additional practice times, times available on a first come/ first serve basis.

Teams are free to practice as much as they deem needed.

Coaches:
We Background Check ALL Coaches & BYA Board Members:

We require all BYA coaches and board members to go through a yearly background check process.

WHAT FORMAT IS THE PRIME PROGRAM (AGE GROUP BREAKDOWN)?
THE PRIME LEAGUE WILL USE THE FOLLOWING GRADE BREAKDOWN: BOYS A& GIRLS GRADES 3RD THRU 6TH

CAN I BRING AN ENTIRE TEAM OF PLAYERS AND FORM MY OWN PRIME TEAM AND PLAY UNDER THE BYA BANNER?
YES.

ARE THEIR ANY BOUNDARY REQUIREMENTS FOR PRIME TEAMS?
NO.

WILL THE PRIME TEAMS BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL STAR TOURNAMENTS?
NO.

WHAT DAYS OF THE WEEK, HOW MANY GAMES, WHERE WILL THEY BE PLAYED?
FALL SEASON - SATURDAY'S 8 GAMES.  (SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE YEAR TO YEAR)

WE DO NOT OFFER SUMMER OR SPRING BASKETBALL

HOW MUCH DOES PRIME COST?
TYPICAL EXPENSE OF A SEASON ON AVERAGE IS $250* INCLUDING UNIFORM EXPENSE.  *MOST OF THIS CAN BE OFFSET BY SPONSORSHIP AND FUNDRAISERS.

ARE THEIR TRYOUTS?
NO.  PLAYERS WILL NEED TO SEEK OUT AND FIND A SELECT TEAM TO PLAY ON.
