Football
Burleson Youth Association is a charter member of the Northwest Texas Youth Football Association. We currently play teams in Azle, Crowley, Granbury and Weatherford. Flag football is offered to children who are 4-5 years old (must be 4 as of September 1, 2013 and may not be 6 on or before September 1, 2013). Tackle football is offered to children ages 6-12 (may not be 13 on or before September 1, 2013 or in 7th grade).
Our goal is to provide every child a chance to participate in organized team activities, while learning friendship, responsibility, accountability and conduct in order to become an upstanding citizen in our community.
In person sign-ups will be held April 27th – June 1st on Saturdays 10am-2pm and Thursdays 6:30pm-8:00pm at the Whitley Building at Bartlett Park. Please bring your child to sign-ups so they can be properly fitted for their uniforms. A copy of your child’s birth certificate will be needed at sign-ups for both Flag and Tackle football registrations.
Flag football – ages 4-5
Cost: $80 – includes: free BYA t-shirt, two jerseys, shorts, belt, trophy
Tackle football – ages 6-12
Cost: $100 – includes: free BYA t-shirt, two jerseys, game pants, hip pads, belt, trophy (optional helmet may be purchased from BYA for $73)
Mandatory BYA Raffle ($20 value) is included in the above costs. If you sell the tickets, you keep the money!
Late sign-ups will be Saturday, July 6th 10am-2pm and Thursday, July 11th 6:30pm-8:00pm – late fees will apply.
