In an ongoing effort to protect our youth, the BYA and the City of Burleson require all volunteers, BYA registered coaches and employees of the BYA that are in contact with youth to wear an identification badge.  If you see somone that has this, it means that they passed a yearly background check.  Each year the badges are updated.  In addition, coaches on the fields of Chisenhall field are required to complete a coaching certification class to ensure they have been taught the basic skills of coaching.

If you see a person with an outdated badge or on a field without one, please point them out to a BYA official.  Please be advised that teams that visit us from neighboring associations are not required to have a badge, just BYA registered team coaches.
