BYA Elections Announcement

The BYA Annual Meeting for elections of 2019 Board positions will be held at 7 pm on May 8th at the Whitley Building (550 NW Summercrest Blvd. Suite 101). All members of the association are encouraged to attend to cast their vote. Votes must be cast in person, absentee votes will not count.

The following positions will be voted on at the May 8th Annual Meeting:

President

Secretary

VP of Basketball

VP of Baseball

VP of Cheer

Director of Marketing and Communications

Director of Equipment

Director of Registrations

Due to the extensive nature and multiplicity of duties associated with the board positions, a nominee must have at least one (1) year of previous experience on a BYA committee in order to have advanced knowledge of what will be required of them in the position. Nominees must be in good standing with BYA and able to serve a two-year term commencing on August 1, 2019. An individual may hold no more than one position on the board.

Nominations must be received by 11:59 PM CT on May 1, 2019. Nominees should submit their intent to run, and the position for which they are running, via email to [email protected] by the May 1st deadline to be eligible for the May 8th vote.
